Photograph article dated November 29, 1962 partially reads, "The block-long tent on the south side of Saticoy St. between Van Nuys Blvd. and Tyrone Ave. in Van Nuys was filled with noises of carpentry and the smell of plaster. Children laughed as they watched the wooden crates gradually take shape: A motor, a mound of plaster, some pieces of wood, a streak of paint. And behold: A float depicting one of 36 scenes in "The Life and Ministry of Christ." Pictured is Mrs. Janet MacDonald who creates an ornament which will be on the float for First Baptist Church, Van Nuys.; See images #00115719 through #00115721 for all photos in this series.
