Description
"The $687,000 addition to Pacific Telephone Co.'s Fair Oaks dial-switching facility has been completed, including the remodeling of previously standing portions of the building to look like this. Now work is underway on installing the equipment the addition was meant to house. The center, at California and Sunrise Avenues, now keeps 15 PTT employees busy. After it becomes a major facility in May, the existing staff will be augmented by some 80 telephone operators"
