Image of Union soldiers crossing a river on a raft on the way to Fayetteville, West Virginia, during the American Civil War.
This title is part of a set published as the Album of the Campaign of 1861 in West Virginia. Cincinnati : Ehrgott, Forbriger & Co., 1862. "Printed by Ehrgott, Forbriger & Co. Cincinnati."--text, bottom right margin. "Sketched fr. nature & drawn on stone by J. Nep. Roesler Corpl. of Color Guard Comp. G. 47th. Regt. O.V.-U.S.A."--text, bottom left margin. "Entered according to act of Congress in the year 1862 by J. Nep. Roesler in the Clerks Office of the District Court of the Southern District of Ohio."--text, bottom center margin.
