Photograph caption dated February 2, 1963 reads, "Dedication ceremonies for a new Torah presented by children of the Temple Beth Ami religious school were held this week to commemorate the first anniversary of the dedication of the sanctuary. Funds for the Torah were collected by children through personal donations throughout the year. The silver breastplate was a donation by Mr. and Mrs. Herman Winnick, Woodland Hills, honoring the 50th wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Abe Diamond. Helping in dedication are (from left) Gerald Lieberman, 14, Reseda; Al Yablon, Hidden Hills; Rabbi Morris Margolis, and Ken Levin, 18, leader of junior congregation."
