Photograph caption dated November 23, 1957 reads "Jack Lippus of Canoga Park shows his 21-year-old horse, Champ, that swimming pool at Lippus home, 23356 Collins St., is for humans only. Neighbor discovered horse standing in pool. It took Lippus and two friends to pull Champ from water. Lippus says he has no idea how horse got into fenced pool area."
