Photograph caption dated May 14, 1956 reads "From left, Ronnie, 12; Bonnie Jean, 7, and Connie Johnston, 3, stare numbly at blanket covered body of their mother, Mrs. Jean Johnston, 30, after she was shot and killed by her estranged husband, Regis Johnston, 35.
