Photograph caption dated March 30, 1965 reads, "Reporter Phil Hanna of the Valley Times looks over a tableful of converted M-14 rifles at the Erquiaga Arms Co. in City of Industry. The state attorney general has confiscated 373 machine guns manufactured by the firm because the firm has no state license and because 'they may be used by private armies.'"
