Description
Displayed prominently in several silent films and at the California State Fair for years, is the vintage 1863 engine C. P. Huntington. A descriptive note on the back reads “The C. P. Huntington became Southern Pacific’s Locomotive #1 in 1871, and is an unusual ‘bicycle-type’ engine.”
