Description
"The southern tip of the fast-moving Hubbard Glacier, in the photo at right, near the town of Yakutat, on the Alaskan panhandle, has moved across the mouth of (the former) Russell Fiord. . . now Russell Lake. In the picture is the southern tip of Hubbard Glacier, with its icebergs breaking off and floating in Disenchantment Bay, which becomes Yakutat Bay slightly to the west. . . In the background is Russell Lake, and beyond that, the St. Elias mountain range."
