Description
Photograph of an illuminated Christmas tree in front of the Petroleum Securities Building, December 26, 1928. In the foreground at left, a large Christmas tree can be seen on a triangular base. Christmas lights and garland decorate the tree. Surrounding the perimeter of the tree, a square of low shrubs can be seen. In the background, the large, stone building of Petrolem Securities is visible. Four windows can be seen along the side of the building, and a large arched entryway is visible at right. A large hanging lamp is suspended from the apex of the arch, and a wreath with garland covers the windows above the glass doors within the arch. A woman can be seen standing behind one of the glass doors.
