Photograph caption dated January 11, 1956 reads, "Former Valleyite Jean Wood Fuller, seated, now serving as director of women's activities for the Federal Civil Defense administration in Battle Creek, Mich., recently visited the Reseda Republican Women's Club. She is shown chatting with Mrs. Joseph Knecht, educational program chairman for district six, civil defense; Geraldine B. Hadsell, chief of women's activities for Los Angeles, and Alta Potter, assistant deputy director for Los Angeles civil defense."
