Photograph caption dated September 1, 1956 reads "San Fernando Mayor Dan Spencer, left, and Thomas Walker, right, buy tickets from Mrs. William Broadley for variety show Sept. 14 to be sponsored by Valley Braille Blazers Club for blind. Club is sponsored by San Fernando, Pacoima, Van Nuys and North Hollywood Lions Clubs. Walker heads San Fernando Lions. In addition to show, there will be display of hand-made articles, wood and leather work, dressed dolls and ceramics."
