Pictured is actress Patty Duke, holding the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for the movie 'The Miracle Worker', in which she played the role of Helen Keller. The movie was nominated for five Academy Awards and won 2 (Anne Bancroft won for Best Actress). The event was held at the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium. Photograph dated April 9, 1963.
