Title supplied by cataloger. Pictured is the Rose Parade float from the City of Los Angeles, "Big League," depicting a baseball player in Dodger Stadium. Photograph dated January 1, 1958. An article from January 1, 1958 partially reads, "The City of Los Angeles provided comedy in this float characterizing the City's dream of big league baseball that has at last come true. Baseball was symbolized by a comic baseball player, who is about to pound a home run over the wall at Chavez Ravine. Base of the float was an artist's conception of what the new ball park may look like."
