Description: Emery Air Freight in May 1970 marked the anniversary of its computerized air freight handling system, EMCON, with record volume of hour-to-hour reports on shipments and aircraft at over two dozen U.S. air terminals. The system tells shippers where their shipment is at any time during the delivery period.
