Description
Photograph of a view of work being done on the breakwater at Los Angeles Harbor, 1900-1910. At left is the edge of the ship from which the picture was taken. The bottom of the upper deck and a raining are all that can be seen. The ocean is at center and right, and at center, a large splash is being made, possibly by a rock being positioned as a foundation for the breakwater.
