Description
Silt, passed up from the canyon bed where bulldozers are working, is dumped on top of the tunnel (right) where it seeps down like sand in an hourglass to the master conveyor. The master conveyor, moving about seven miles per hour, hauls the debris about a mile away to Burro Canyon where it is dumped.
