Description
Photograph of an exterior view of a cabin built by James Marshall, Coloma, ca.1930. The cabin is pictured at center, just in from the crook of a dirt road which slopes down gently from the left hand corner to the right. The cabin appears to be made from planks of scrap wood, and features an awninged porch decorated with vines. The cabin was built after Marshall discovered gold. He lived there until 1868.
