Image of the interior of the Bristol Cafe (later the Cafe Nat Goodwin) dining room on the Bristol Pier (later the Crystal Pier) in the Ocean Park neighborhood of Santa Monica, California, including tables, chairs, waiters and patrons.
This is a copy negative (a photograph of another photograph). "The Bristol Pier, Santa Monica, Cal."--text on image. Title transcribed from item; date approximated by cataloger based on year the Bristol Cafe became the Cafe Nat Goodwin (see Los Angeles Times, 31 May 1913, page A6). Postcard version of image reproduced in Ernest Marquez publication: Santa Monica Beach: A Collector's Pictorial History (Angel City Press, 2004), page 171.
