Description
Photograph shows part of the facade of the Memorial Church at Stanford University. The stone plaque reads "Memorial Church erected by Jane Lathrop Stanford to the glory of God and in loving memory of her husband Leland Stanford." Jane Stanford had the church built on University grounds as a memorial to her husband, Leland Stanford. The interdenominational church was dedicated on January 25, 1903. Scanned with Microtek Scanmaker 1000XL Pro; as a 600 dpi TIFF image in 8-bit RGB color. Auto Level image processing applied and compressed into JPEG format using Photoshop CS3.
