Main Street in Venice after construction, September 1937. In the foreground where originally two streets could be seen, a single wide street is visible extending into the extreme background. To the left, another small street can be seen branching away from the center street. Lines of automobiles can be seen on both sides of the street near lamp posts and utility poles. On the far left, a line of houses can be seen. To the far left, large structures with cylindrical metal barriers across the tops can be seen. Additional structures are visible in the extreme background.
