Photograph caption dated December 16, 1944 reads, "Riding in a little scooter and reaching her tiny hand for a toy, Carol Ann Barry, 14 months old, is shown today. A jury of eight women and four men was tentatively chosen today to determine whether the little girl was fathered by Charlie Chaplin."
