Pictured is famous modern dancer Ruth St. Denis, demonstrating exercises at Frankie Van's Health Club, located at 3717 N. Cahuenga Blvd., Studio City. Here she can be seen on a stationary bicycle. Ms. Denis once lived in the Valley and operated a school in the Cahuenga Pass. Photograph dated January 31, 1962.
