Title
Redwood rots. Fruiting bodies of a white Poria on the big end of a windfall #1350. This section was cut about the middle of Aug. but the tree must have been down five years of more. Cut is about 6 ft. from ground line of the tree. The opposite end of the 16-foot log contained a large discolored (brown) area but had on it only a very small sporophore. E. Fritz, Nov. 1929
