Photograph article dated March 26, 1963 partially reads, "Birmingham High kept its seven-year league swimming win streak intact Monday afternoon at Encino Swim School but it was too close for comfort. Coach Nick Buzolich's Birmingham Braves needed every point available to turn back Taft, 48-47, in a West Valley League attraction." Photograph caption reads, "Steve Danielson, left, Taft, winner of 200-yard freestyle - Charles Crouch, Birmingham, was second in race at Encino Swim School."
