Description
Transmitter room of Pacific Wireless Telegraph Company station at 125 Ninth Street, San Pedro California, in 1904, showing a 1 kw spark transmitter. Pacific Wireless Telegraph Company succeeded Pacific and Continental Wireless in August, 1903. Pacific's stations included A at Avalon, Catalina Island, CA; G in Los Angeles, CA (San Pedro); D in Port Townsend, WA; DA in Seattle, WA, and SF in San Francisco, CA.
