Photograph of the USC Medical School Float in Los Angeles' La Fiesta Parade, ca.1894. The University of Southern California's horse-drawn cart decorated with flowers and palm leaves bears the sign "Medical College U.S.C." while a group of men in lightly-colored clothing stand on top of it, one of whom is dressed as a skeleton, and who holds an actual skeleton. Shop fronts are visible behind them. Legible signs include: "Jas. Jones Manufacturer of Glass and Iron Goods [...]" and "Wood Work / Architectural Wood Carving / Scroll Sawing [...]". The float is located on the west side of Main Street between Seventh Street and Eight Street.
