Do Not Go Gentle‚ segment inspects the lives of the elderly, mainly focusing on elderly community members who had been brushed to the margins of American society. Features interviews with older folks who are in low-grade housing facilities or houseless. Talks about lack of family and communal connection many elderly experience. Does some comparison to some Western European elderly lifestyle and attitudes. The interview of Jane Fonda on the Dick Cavitt Show covers her political activity throught Vietnam. Following segment is an interview with two women from Bay Area Women Against Rape (BAWAR) to address occurrences of rape and other acts of sexual violence against women in Berkeley. The interview includes description of what BAWAR is, the attitudes towards rape survivors by the overall society and police, and callers ask them questions.
