Description
This circa-1918 photograph shows two men posing in front of a house in Carmichael, while well-dressed women mill about a period automobile near the left of the frame. A sprinkler, small farmhouse and a garage or equipment shed also are visible. This was one of the nearly 3,000 farms that could be found in Sacramento County during that era.
