Description
Residences can be seen on an unidentified, palm tree-lined street in Glendale. Although the street appears to be wide, only one automobile can be seen parked along the left side of the street, far in the background. The city of Glendale was incorporated in 1906, initially consisting of 1,486 acres. Calling itself "The Fastest Growing City in America", in 1920 the city's population was 13,756 - just 10 years later, in 1930, it had grown to 62,736; by the new millennium, Glendale's population was at approximately 195,000, proving itself true to its motto.
