Forest fire denudation reveals strata of Sespe, Vaqueros and Topanga formations lying conformably upon each other in the Santa Monica Mountains. Seen from Saddle Peak Rd., 1 mile beyond Richard Dix's Ranch above Fernwood off Topanga Canyon Highway.
