Photograph of the Southern Pacific Railroad bridge across the Sacramento River, ca.1900. The long trestle bridge can be seen stretching across the river and the image from left to right. The river water is calm and partially reflects the image of the bridge. In the foreground at right, the barge "Nicolaus" is tied up behind another barge. Trees can be seen on both banks of the river in the background.
