Photograph caption dated May 12, 1965 reads, "Pennie Franklin, 15, and John Magee, 16, treasurer and president, respectively, of the Tarzana Teen-Age Republicans, present Mrs. Marion Miller, right, with a check for $50 to help in her campaign for member of the Los Angeles City Board of Education. The Taft High School students raised funds with a car wash."
