This photograph is contained in one of two volumes by Dobbin titled "Album of San Francisco."
Text written under photo: "Second & Howard St. 19011 [sic]." Photo shows the four-story building at the north corner of 2nd and Howard occupied by the Jessie Moore Hunt Co. It looks as though a fire has consumed the top floor. Several men are walking past. Carriages, a wagon, and an automobile are parked by the Howard Street side of the building. Lumber is stacked by the 2nd Street side, by which a dog is running.
