Photograph of Hopi governor and his little daughter with Dr. George Wharton James, ca.1900. The Hopi man is standing at right, wearing necklaces, a shirt, trousers, and moccasins. The little girl is standing between James' bent legs. James is sitting on a rock. He is bearded and facing to his right. There are more large rocks behind the group. The little girl made a basket for James.
