This pigment print and artist proof was made in 2011. It is one of three prints, aside from a projected numbered edition of twenty-five prints. It is signed, titled, and dated in pencil by the artist on verso; artist's wet stamp also on verso. The extensive portfolio of photographic artist Carol Westwood (1942-2011), a native New Yorker who lived in Los Angeles for many years, includes a diverse array of subjects: animals, nudes, American and European cities, and portraits. Additionally, she worked on special and still photography for numerous motion picture and television productions in Hollywood; the archive of her entertainment and celebrity images was distributed internationally by Gamma, Liaison International, Stone Images, and Getty images from 1988-2003. A pile of headstones at Pet Haven, located at 18300 S. Figueroa Street in Gardena. Various statuettes, including one of St. Francis of Assisi (upper right), have been placed between the headstones.
