Exterior view of the two buildings used by the Hyde Park Congregational Church, located at 65th and Crenshaw.; The first church building, seen on the far right, was dedicated in 1901, after land for a church was generously given by Capt. and Mrs. Fred B. Clark in memory of their daughter. While the church was declared a Los Angeles Historic-Cultural Landmark in 1963, it was demolished approximately a year later. A new church facility opened on this site in 1965.
