Photograph caption dated July 28, 1959 reads, "Cecil M. Cook, 37, right, former Van Nuys High School physiology teacher subject of a 'moral turpitude' hearing which may cost him his teaching credentials, confers with defense attorneys Ray C. Eberhard, left, and C.V. Eberhard, center, during hearing session." Mr. Cook upset some of his students when he led "Kinsey" type surveys and discussions regarding their sexual behavior. This prompted an investigation by the California State Board of Education.; See images #00114625 through #00114627
