Orders the release of Sakae Yamano following a "reconsideration" of evidence used for a previous order for segregation at Tule Lake.
The Yamano Japanese Internment collection contains materials pertaining to the life of Japanese Americans before, during, and after World War II. Many of the materials in the collection document their time in incarceration facilities. Sakae and Matsuzo Yamano emigrated from Japan to California in the 1920’s and 1930’s. They were incarcerated at the Granada camp and the Tule Lake camp during World War II and remained incarcerated until 1946. The collection contains photographs of family and friends, documents from incarceration facilities, and family portraits.
