Briggs, 12229 Cantura, on petition against a Studio City Chamber of Commerce proposal to raze homes on the north side of Cantura to make way for parking lots to serve a new Ventura boulevard shopping area. The petitions call on Mayor Norris Poulson and Councilman Lemoine Blanchard to act to halt the property takeover. The petitions will be presented following an as-yet-unscheduled meeting with Blanchard."
