Description
Title supplied by cataloger.
Garrett Vanderplas (pictured) a longtime resident of the Santa Monica Towers, said he himself went on many bus trips to Reno, which are sponsored by the apartment complex. But he can't understand what happened on the bus that tumbled Friday morning into a treacherous river in a remote canyon in Northern California. Approximately 26-28 residents of the complex, and about a dozen other nearby Santa Monica residents made the $135, four-day fateful trip. Photograph dated May 31, 1986.
