Photograph caption dated March 12, 1960 reads, "Kitchen Utensils, Phone, Picture, Cereal Box and Glass Jars - Not Even Cracked! - Were Hurled in a Mass and Landed Together When Blast Demolished Apartment." The explosion happened at 3422 Helms Avenue in Culver City.
