Photograph caption dated January 25, 1964 reads, "Ralph Maxheimer, a square dance caller for more than 20 years, was honored with a 'This Is Your Life' party Friday at the Chatsworth Women's Club. Members of the Bustles and Beauxs Square Dance Club brought his friends together from all over the country. Shown are, front, Mrs. Mariam Muehlenbach, party chairman; rear, left to right, Mrs. Pat Harvey, Portland, Ore., Do-Si-Do Club; Maxheimer and his wife, Eve. President of the Southern California Callers' Association, Maxheimer is credited as being the man who first brought square dancing to Canada."
