Description
Roberto D'Aubuisson Arrieta looks intently as he speaks with journalists during an interview at ARENA's headquarters in San Salvador. He is holding a cigarette in his left hand as a mug and packet of Rex-brand cigarettes rest on the table. In 1993, a report published by the United Nations Commission on the Truth for El Salvador established that it was Roberto D'Aubuisson Arrieta who gave the order to assassinate Archbishop Óscar Arnulfo Romero in 1980.
