Pakistan, Peshawar District, NWFP. John Martyn, son of Margrethe and Jens Christensen. Died 19th May 1934 and was buried at the graveyard in Mardan. Bible text: Matthew's gospel 19,14. (May 19, 1934 a tragedy occurred at the hospital in Mardan. A psychotic man entered the hospital and killed Frederikke Bøj, the Indian Nurse Rachel and also the only son of Missionaries Margrethe and Jens Christensen, 7 year old John Martyn. The man fled into the mountains towards Afghanistan and was never caught by the authorities).
