(19. maj 1934 skete der en tragedie på hospitalet i Mardan. En psykotisk mand trængte ind på hospitalet og dræbte Frederikke Bøj og Rachel samt Margrethe og Jens Christensens eneste søn, John Martyn på 7 år. Manden flygtede op i bjergene mod Afghanistan og blev aldrig fundet af myndighederne)

Description: Pakistan, Peshawar District, NWFP. John Martyn, son of Margrethe and Jens Christensen. Died 19th May 1934 and was buried at the graveyard in Mardan. Bible text: Matthew's gospel 19,14. (May 19, 1934 a tragedy occurred at the hospital in Mardan. A psychotic man entered the hospital and killed Frederikke Bøj, the Indian Nurse Rachel and also the only son of Missionaries Margrethe and Jens Christensen, 7 year old John Martyn. The man fled into the mountains towards Afghanistan and was never caught by the authorities).
