Photograph caption dated October 11, 1957 reads "Jumper Jim Salo, 28, of Tujunga, floats slowly to earth at 11 miles an hour. Before ripcord was pulled his speed was 125 miles an hour. Salo is parachute rigger by profession and is veteran jumper. He made one Korean War combat jump at Munsan-Ni." See images 00155204 through 00155208 for all photos in this series.
