Wheels of fortune spin no more on the gambling ship "Monte Carlo". All the gaming equipment, valued at $50,000, was confiscated by officers of the district attorney's office. With a search warrant, officials boarded the boat off Long Beach and took off all equipment in their war against gambling barges. Photo shows equipment loaded on board a tug. Photo dated: May 5, 1934.
