Description
Photograph shows Abner Mundell Tribbey (1830-1887). Moved to California with his wife, Martha , in 1872 - to Toadtown and Lovelock in 1875 - bringing their children George, Sarah, Charley, and Annie. Later Frank was born at Lovelock and Mattie at Toadtown. Abner was a woodsman working for Mike Doon, later he was self-employed as a shake-river. In the winter of 1886 their house collapsed with snow and he was so injured that he died June of 1887 - Larry V. Richardson.
