Photograph caption dated January 27, 1961 reads, "Preparing to become 'Mothers' by putting on armbands announcing 'Tonight I Am a Mother' are, left to right, front, Fred S. Fox, 4217 Empress Ave., and Mort Phillips, 4040 Jill Place, and, back, Karl Hubenthal, 16863 Marmaduke Ave., and Melvins Spears, 4268 Bonavita Drive, all of Encino. They are among a group of 10 men who will help women collect campaign funds in the hilly sections of the Lanai Road school district Tuesday."
