Photograph of about 10 spectators watching from behind a wire fence as a keeper feeds a group of about 20 alligators on an alligator farm in Los Angeles, ca.1900. Some of the alligators are wet having just crawled out of a pond in the foreground onto the grassy embankment. The man stands among the alligators in the enclosure. Trees grow around the fence and in the enclosure.
